Christmas Wrap Up

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a wonderful Christmas this year celebrating our holiday as a family of 3 for the last year :) Jason's parents were here, so that made for a fun time, as well - especially for the Jakeman who wholeheartedly enjoyed all the extra attention.

We spent Christmas Eve toodling about downtown. It was around 70 degrees, and Jason was in shorts. Seriously???? The guys enjoyed golfing in the warm weather, too.

Totally a Christmas Eve type of outfit - haha

Gammy, Grandad, Jake, and Daddy

Jake was pretty excited on Christmas morning and he played with all of his new toys all day long. Although after his nap, he woke up with a fever that we have been battling ever since. I think it is mostly teething related. Damn molars... He has had only 2 days where he felt puny all day - yesterday being one of them. Here are a few pics from Christmas morning.

Jason joked about winning the "Best Husband Award" with his gift for me, and I will say he did well :) He already had the best husband award in my book, anyway (even if he does drive me batty occasionally). I got a fancy, schmancy new camera, camera bag, and Photoshop. Although Photoshop has cost me a few headaches already, I know that once I learn how to use it properly, it will be awesome. I can play with the new camera, but since the memory card has not arrived, I can't save any pics yet.

We did have a doctor's appointment the other day, complete with an ultrasound. Apparently, I am growing a moose :) The little guy weighed around 4 and a half pounds at 30 weeks. I am hoping that this means he will decide to make an appearance early like Jake did. We shall see. I hope that everyone has a safe and happy New Year. I know that I am looking forward to all the excitement that 2012 will bring.
