Never Say Never

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter. Jason worked all weekend, but the boys and I went to church Saturday afternoon instead of being in the crowded rush Sunday morning. I dressed Connor right before Jake got up from his nap, and here are some pictures of him in his 6 MONTH sized outfit. The little man is not so small - haha!!!

He is such a sweet little man. He is sleeping really well at night, too. We usually feed around 9 or 10 and then head to bed. He doesn't wake up until around 4 or 5. Woohoo!!!! I always said that I would never sleep with a baby, but little Connor usually spends the last few hours of sleep right with me. He is just so darn snuggly, and this go round I can appreciate just how little time they stay this size. So, never say never... I also said that we would probably let Connor cry like we did with Jake in order to sleep through the night. I don't think I can do it this time. I'm gettin' soft...The schedule that I was so crazy with Jake about has just sort of worked itself out very naturally with Connor. For the most part, I can tell you when he is going to eat, sleep, etc. This second baby stuff is much easier, and it has been much easier to go from 1 kiddos to 2 than it was to have the first.

Easter morning we hung out at home and let the boys open their Easter baskets. Jake LOVES DumDums, and he tried to eat one with the wrapping on it :) Even the animals enjoyed their baskets.

Our days have been spent burning energy. The mornings we have headed to music, Jump Bunch, soft play at the mall, etc, and every afternoon we have hit the playground. Of course, we have taken the beach toys and all Jake does at the playground (for the most part) is dig in the sand. Yesterday, we filled the pail with sweetgum balls and carried them around. Every afternoon, we have a meltdown when we leave, but you can rest assured that sleep is much better that night because of the energy we burned. He has really eaten some great dinners for the last few nights, and I have given him a push-up when he finished his meal. I am trying to clean out the freezer, and he is more than willing to help.

It is still amazing to me how much the boys look alike. For instance, here is a pic of Jake in the bath when he was around the same age Connor is now:
And here is Connor tonight :

Granted, Jake had his eyes a little more squinted, and the actual picture that I was thinking about of Jake is on my cell phone. But they still look so much alike. Here a few more of C from tonight's bath.

I love my boys, and the little one is telling me that he needs to eat, so I will run for now. I know that this wasn't the most exciting post, but then again, are any of them lately?? haha
