I don't know if it is the crazy pregnancy hormones, realizing how quickly the boys are growing, great sermons at church or what it has been, but I have been soaking up my time with my babies more than ever. The realization that these times pass so quickly and the realization of how stinking cute they are has hit me daily. Jake and I have spent a lot of time together lately. He sat on the counter for 2 hours the day before Thanksgiving patiently waiting on instructions on what he could do next. He loves anything to do with "patching eggs." That's is hatching eggs, or just known as cracking to you and me, but whatevs... He has told his Daddy on more than one occasion lately that it is Mommy's kitchen and he needs to go. That cracks me up every time because I have NEVER told Jason to get out of the kitchen - that was something that Jake decided for himself. Connor is talking at a rate that is staggering. His little brain comes out with ideas that crack us all up.
Here are some pics of the last little bit, including Halloween:

My old laptop finally died last week. I killed it - dead, dead, dead. After a few days, we are back up and running with a machine that seems to run at the speed of light compared to the old one - haha. I never have been one to replace something just for the sake of getting the newest, best thing, but holy smokes this new computer is nice to have.
We had a sweet friend snap some pics for us the other day. Many of you have seen these on "the Facebook," and I cannot thank her enough for doing that for us.
Life with little people makes you appreciate all the small things again. Constant Christmas music is on the radio in my car because the boys like it, drives in our jammies searching for Christmas lights is a whole new pleasure while Connor yells, "mo, lights" as soon as you pass a house with them, decorating the tree was fun and scary this year between children and a curious cat, telling the story of baby Jesus being born and seeing your children learn it adds a level of joy to the season that is unexplainable.
As we prepare to welcome our newest member of the family (who still does not have a name), blog land will probably be silent for a bit. We are just soaking up the time we have together before life gets even more busy. I might get a wild hair, who knows? But just in case, I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. In this busy season of rush and "get ready", I hope that you all take a moment to soak up the blessings you have as well.
