No, no basketball posts here, people. Although, as I look over the computer screen to the TV, teams are running up and down the court since the hubs is watching what seems to be all televised games. This month has been pretty busy, and I thought I would share what we had been doing (for those of you who care). This isn't exactly Earth-shattering stuff here, but if you have ever read anything on here, that statement should not surprise you. Ah, these boys are growing so quickly, it kills me. They are exploring their world, and it is amazing to watch. Just when you think you could not possibly answer one more question from a two year old, another question pops out of his mouth. And then there is this sweet boy who loves his Mama more than anything. He is definitely a Mama's boy through and through.
Early in the month, we had a fire drill here in the neighborhood. The people who lived in our house are building a house at the end of the street. They filled us in that the fire department was doing a drill at the house, so we went down to check it out. They brought out the trucks, the hoses, and ladders. It was pretty cool, especially when you are two. The firemen were so nice and took time to show Jake all around the fire truck.
St. Patrick's Day in Savannah is a big darn deal, complete with a huge parade that is the second largest in the country. Large crowds plus really small children aren't my cup of tea, so we opted for the beach with friends. While I'm sure that the parade is something that we will do and probably look forward to one day, we couldn't have picked a more beautiful day to be at the beach. Although it was a little chilly at first, it warmed up nicely, and was almost 80 degrees when we left.
There are no pictures of Jake at the beach because he was busy. Busy dipping is feet in the water, busy collecting shells, busy building sand castles, etc. He worked up quite the appetite and ate three (yes, three) peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch along with some apples and strawberries. When we got in the car to go home, he asked if we could stop for chicken nuggets. Um, no...
Today, we had our Easter egg hunt at church. Madness, I tell you. There were little people everywhere, and a good time was had by all. There were giant bouncers, face painting, and an egg hunt. Poor Connor liked the Easter bunny UNTIL he had to sit with him. Then, not so much...

There is still the class party and egg hunt, a trip to the mall to see chicks hatch, and who knows what else for the remaining days of March. I hope you all are having as much fun as we are!
Dang it! It didn't save my comment. I LOVE your blog and you and those sweet sweet boys whom I've never met...I wonder if Mom would just meet me in Savannah sometime...Heck, she'd probably even babysit!
