Stick a Fork in Me

Yep, I'm done. Done, done, done... Jason has been studying for boards, and I haven't left the house without my child in, oh, a long time. It is beginning to get to me. Thankfully, he is a very sweet little thing, so he has made the incredible amount of time we have spent together less painful ;) Here he is blowing me a kiss during our walk the other evening.
He is big into hugs and kisses these days. When we are playing in his room, he will randomly come over and just lay his head on my leg for a minute or give me a kiss and then run back to playing. Jason says he has totally figured out how to play his Mama. So true, so true.

In other news, I had a photo featured on the MCP Actions blog for project 52. The week's theme was "Shadows". I think that it was a cool concept, but I was trying to shoot in between taking care of baby, so not my best work... This makes the fourth photo I have had on the weekly roundup. I haven't been doing it lately, and I want to finish out the year trying to get entries in before the week is up.

This morning we had "homemade" doughnuts. The recipe is here. All you use is canned biscuits, butter, cinnamon, sugar, and oil. My pic on this one isn't the best either. The one doughnut isn't burned, it is still wet from the butter, cinnamon, and sugar bath :) You should try these - fast and easy.
I feel like this post is even more all over the place than usual because I feel really scattered. I am just as ready as Jason for the boards to be OVER. I am already at the uncomfortable stages of pregnancy - this has hit so much sooner than last time, and I know it has everything to do with picking up a toddler all day. Still, he is pretty cute...
I just want a few afternoons to myself - or to go take pictures for someone. That's what I really want to do right now. I have taken the camera out for walks in the afternoons. These do not do justice to the place I call home. These are all taken just 5 minutes from my back door.

In completely unrelated news, I have been doing some "Craiglisting" lately. Here is a little solid wood table we picked up for $70 yesterday afternoon. I haven't had the chance to accessorize just yet - forgive me people.
Hopefully, this post finds all of you well. I also hope that the next time I sit down to do this, I will actually have some interesting information to share that I can put together in a more coherent way. Until next time...
